Problem solving and solution finding are two of the main reasons people approach me, and as part of that process I help enhance my client’s leadership performance, personal development and emotional intelligence. All done through a process of inquiry, dialogue and the use of industry recognised proven tools and techniques.
Obviously different companies and executives have different needs, but generally I help problem solve and develop decision-making solutions whilst encouraging experimental new ways of thinking and operating.
We work together to take a measure of where you currently are and where you want to be and jointly commit to action steps that help achieve you or your companies’ goals.

A great coach listens, and draws knowledge out from you, a great mentor tells / shows and feeds knowledge in to you*
A lot of people have experienced coaches that tell more than listen, meaning they are trying to mentor rather than give the coachee space to explore and release the ideas that they have within themselves.
They are two very different skills and two VERY different experiences and outcomes for the client if managed correctly.

Having known Jon for the last 25 years, and as he has always been someone I can go to for business advice, for direction when it comes to a new approach to strategic thinking and generally someone I have always been able to bounce ideas off; catching up with him about my new role and my next steps within it felt like a natural and sensible next step recently.
